Being a Tekken newbie, I was impressed by the realism of the fighting gameplay and character movements. The combos are hard to pull off and really takes a lot of practice before you can achieve God-like status in this game. Heck, I couldn't even defeat the final boss in Easy mode!
Konami code on?
Kidding aside the game is great, especially for die hard fans and gamers who'd like to test out all the Tekken characters and duke 'em out to find out who's the greatest. As for me I'll stick to my favorite Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 and my new fighting gem, P4A. I'd like to thank Cynetzone's Cubao branch on their wonderful facility and service which allowed me to enjoy my TTT2 gaming experience.

I used to be a huuuuuuuuuge Tekken dude. I mean...wow. I can tell you stories.
ReplyDeleteI skipped this game because it still looked too much like the past 4 Tekken games. Once they overhaul the character models and animations, I may get into Tekken again. I know you mention the new features, but it still looks to be the same Tekken game Namco has spit out 4-5 times straight. Done with that for now.
How are you coming along in P4A???

Hey 12!
DeleteWell it was first for me so everything is relatively new haha But in terms of the game itself, i'd just be buying the tekken x street fighter copy once its released :D I only got to try the game, thus my review.
P4A is awesome! I heard its like blaz bue? I remember Guilty Gear a bit as well hehe
I've since gotten really sick of P4A (SO unbalanced) and am playing Playstation Allstars Battle Royale. You try it yet?

OMG, no!!! I am missing out on so many VS games now. Busy with work and all LOL Hopefully I can catch up during the holidays :)
DeleteWhat's your take on PSASBR? :D
I'm beginning to realize that it's VERY hard to make a fighting game. Over time, imbalances come out strongly and make the game hard to play...
DeleteI quite P4A because it was TOTALLY imbalanced...
PSAS began well, and I was excited when they nerfed the ridiculous powers of Sackboy.
However, NOW Kratos is way overpowered. I can't advance in the belts because I always run into a n00b Kratos player and he's just waaaay too easy to dominate with.
So, as we speak, I'm not very happy with PSAS but I have hopes of for future updates...outside of my current Kratos anger, I LOVE the game...

I agree that the fighting genre nowadays is hard to come by. Old / original roster characters are still the best to use no matter what game it is, unless the new ones have been powered up ^^'
DeleteSo far I think Kratos has been nerfed over the past months. I believe Drake and Raiden have been tagged as "overpowered" too by most players.
Other than that, I am LOVING PSASBR dude!!!
Raiden and Drake can also be abused but you still have to be pretty good to do it...but complete n00bs abuse Kratos and it annoys me...
