Apart from that, there are other several new features included in the update: you can now use the D-pad and the back touch feature to navigate through your handheld, the Vita browser now has the search button on the top right corner for easy access, the video player can now be adjustable on screen, plus you can link your iTunes onto your device too!
One thing to note though, is the difference on downloadable content available in the US and Europe. Below is the updated list of PSone classics games for the US gamer as of 8/28:
- Arc the Lad
- Cool Boarders 2
- Final Fantasy VII
- Hot Shots Golf 2
- Jet Moto
- Syphon Filter
- Tomb Raider
- Twisted Metal 2
- Wild Arms
If you haven't bought or upgraded to the PS Vita yet, now's a pretty good time to get your money's worth. And if you've owned one since its release, now is the time for retribution. With PSonce classics and up and coming games to keep you company, you're certainly in for a gaming treat!
I never bought this Vita for these classics, but apparently it made at least a few people happy. I'm looking for a new, made-for-Vita JRPG, myself. ---12
ReplyDeleteI know! I remember the rant tweets Vita owners were tweeting about how not having PSone classics DLCs sucks lol
DeleteJRPG? What'd you have in mind, 12?
I don't know. I just want a fresh, made-for-Vita, quality JRPG. I guess that's a lot to ask for. Persona 4 Golden is coming out, and WOULD fit the bill, but it's 1. a remake 2. a game I played originally and didn't like. I can't imagine a Vita version making me somehow like it. --- 12
ReplyDeleteThat's just typical of game developers to remake and port their old games onto newer consoles or handhelds. You wouldn't see the difference on gameplay at all except for "graphics" lol
DeleteWell, the only good thing I can see out of this is that it gives a chance for gamers who haven't experienced the game yet to play it for the first time, but for those who've played it before; meh.
